How Epix IPTV collects, uses, and protects your personal information — written in plain English, with full respect for your rights under UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Epix IPTV ("we", "us", "our") collects when you visit epixsiptv.com or subscribe to our streaming service, how we use that information, and what choices you have. We operate in the United Kingdom and the United States, so this policy is built to honor both the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If anything here is unclear, email us at [email protected] and we will walk you through it.
We try to collect as little as possible. When you place an order or contact support, we may receive:
We use the data above for a short list of well-defined purposes:
Under UK GDPR, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (delivering the service you paid for), legitimate interest (fraud prevention and service improvement), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
We want to be specific about the things we deliberately do not see:
The Epix IPTV website uses a small number of first-party cookies to remember your cart, your selected plan, and whether you have already dismissed a banner. We may also use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and understand which articles or pages are popular. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing the ability to subscribe.
To run the service we rely on a few trusted vendors. Each one only receives the minimum data needed to do its job:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We share data only with the processors listed above, and only to the extent needed to run the service. We may disclose information if we are legally required to by a UK court order, US subpoena, or equivalent valid legal process — and only after confirming the request is lawful.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, UK GDPR gives you the following rights:
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you these rights:
To submit a CCPA request, email [email protected] with the subject line "CCPA Request". We will verify your identity using the email tied to your order before acting.
We keep customer records for as long as your subscription is active and for up to seven years afterwards, which is the standard period required for tax and accounting in the UK and US. Support emails are kept for up to two years so we can reference past tickets. IP addresses used for fraud checks are deleted within 90 days. You can request earlier deletion at any time, subject to the legal retention obligations above.
We protect your data with industry-standard measures: TLS encryption in transit, access controls on our admin tools, two-factor authentication for staff accounts, and a small number of authorized personnel who can view customer records. Payment information is never stored on our servers because our card payment processor handles it directly. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever discover a breach affecting your data we will notify you and the relevant regulator within 72 hours, as required by UK GDPR.
Epix IPTV is intended for adult subscribers. We do not knowingly market to or collect data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account promptly.
Because we serve customers in the UK and the US, your information may be transferred between these jurisdictions and to our processors located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on UK International Data Transfer Agreements or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to make sure your information continues to be protected to the standard required by UK GDPR.
If we update this policy we will revise the effective date at the top of the page and, for any material change, send an email to active subscribers at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
Questions, data requests, or complaints about this policy can be sent to [email protected] or through our contact page. We aim to reply within one business day and to fully resolve formal data requests within 30 days.
